Roshan Adhikari wrote and directed KRIMI as an independent release. We shot it on location in the hills, in an extra-wide frame, mostly under low cloud.
Odaar Studio makes commercials, short films and music videos in Kathmandu, and manages the musicians it makes them with.
Sound gets equal billing with picture here. Scoring, sound design and the edit all happen in-house, so the score and the cut can grow together instead of one being fitted to the other at the end.

Official music video for Ujjwal Saagar
The song puts raag Khamaj together with electronic production. For the video, Ujjwal wanted his own memories on screen: the school hostel, the teachers who first let him touch a harmonium, the trees around the school and the dew on their leaves.

Commercial for Blanxer
Blanxer, a Nepali e-commerce platform, marked its second anniversary on New Year’s Day 2025 with this film. It follows the Gautams, a father and son who take their electronics shop online.
At eight minutes it runs closer to a short film than a spot.

Ujjwal’s song Madhur Jhankaar sets raag Khamaj against electronic production, with Ujjwal on vocals and harmonium. We directed the video.
We represent him and look after the work around the music: planning releases and content, making the videos, and finding him new listeners.
